1. Introduce yourself!
Hey there! My name is Kim. I am a journalist, a designer, a crafter, a musician, a daughter, a friend, a girlfriend, an animal lover, a sports fan, an idealist and so much more. Online, I mainly concern myself with the designing and crafting portions of my life.

This (hopefully) bi-weekly blog will highlight my crafty journey, occasionally dipping into my personal life (all journeys seem to begin and end there) and testing products designed to make your creative experience hassle-free.

2. It's Wednesday at noon, where are you usually?
Probably sitting in the sun, reading. I work an ever-changing schedule, but at noon on most days, I like to be outside, preferably with a book in hand.

3. What kind of laundry detergent do you use?
I love the smell of Tide! However, that's a luxury I rarely allow myself, so I usually use Sun, with the "Mountain Fresh" scent.

4. What brand of shampoo is in your shower right now?
VO5 Shampoo and Conditioner w/silk protein. I'm a big fan of the "Champagne Kiss". It keeps my real hair soft yet strong. Also, the stuff costs less than $1 a bottle.

5. Did you ever get into a bar and drink before you were 21?
Yes, yes. Now that I'm of age, I don't like going to bars anymore. Fun how that works, eh?

6. What countries have you been to?
Just England! I went in May of 2008. On the way there, we flew over Canada, and it looked so beautiful that I made plans to visit Toronto in 2009.

7. Do you watch MTV anymore?
Negative, cap'n. I gave up after the second season of Laguna Beach. Also, upon seeing highlights of the 2008 VMA's, I've realised I'm just too old for MTV. In fact, I may have been too old for it in its current state when I was 11.

8. What do you think about Oprah?
At one point in my life, I thought she was amazing. Then I actually watched her show. I still think she's awesome, but I'm more inspired by her producers/writers who keep coming up with great material over the years.

9. Do you own an iPod?
Yes. It's filled with a bizarre mix of music reflecting various "phases" and outside influences in my life.

10. What do you do for money?
I work in television. I craft and sell pretty things online. ...but, I think you already knew that.

11. Have you ever googled your name?
Yes! There are a lot of really impressive Kim's out there
